Page Cache Archiver Addon - Firefox / Chrome - English

This addons and others are now disabled on Chrome store because google want to force all addons maker to update to manifest v3.0, for me it's a lot of changes for nothing, a lof of syntax changes and functions will not return some parameters used by addons, i don't have the time to make all the changes for nothing, only because google want change useful functions of addons !

To install addon, you need to allow developper mode to Chrome or Edge (addon tested with Edge and it's ok), decompresse the file to a folder and load the files from the addons configurations pages of the browser.

Warning: This source file was not made to be released and modified, i've added a lot of functions and it can be very difficult to change the code, but you can install it in developper mode wihout changing the code and it will work on chrome and compatibles browser until they disallow Manifest 2.0 Extensions !

They don't remove it, i've deleted my account because they are not user friendly.



First, they removed all compatibility with old addond API, they don't allow user to choose to use addons with old api, a lot of addons makers don't have time to do a newer version of their addons, now a lot of addons are not compatible with new firefox versions:

Now addons are chrome like api, with small differences in names, it doesn't change anything for users but for addons makers it make things more complicated to make addons for chrome and firefox, in every API page of addons, it said at the bottom of the page:

Firefox is a chrome clone, not an alternative browser, the menu is now like chrome at the right, before it was another user interface, in fact they're is no real

difference between firefox and chrome.



They said they are user friendly, for privacy but they allow the Beacon API, made for tracking:

There's a lot of others problems with firefox, they are not user friendly, recently they want to remove the api used by ads blockers, and a lot of others problems,
